Childhood Racism, Political Correctness, Fourth Graders, Indians, Cinnamon Bears

A fourth grade class is listening to a 1937 recording of the old time radio show Cinnamon Bear.
During the show the term "Indians" is introduced.
The teacher stops the recording to inform the students that "Indians" is a bad word, a politically incorrect name for Native-Americans.
After the radio show, a white European-American boy asks his black African-American friend: "Why did they call them Indians then?"
"I think because they looked like Indians."
